Pep boys
Pep boys at Mulberry about to open off cr42. More options for cart/car parts. See how it goes. Plenty room for more businesses, like DQ? ok I'm awake now!

Looks too small to be a retail store. I think it's just a fast lube place.

Just went there. Had a check engine light. Charged $104.92 to analyze it. Was told it would cost $935 to fix it. I picked up my car, called Jenkins and they fixed it for $200. If I had started with Jenkins I would have saved the $104.92. Jenkins even gave me a free wash job.

any check engine light is for emissions usually, at least it use to be? Most common cause MAP sensor (which usually can be cleaned), O2 sensor, wild chance TPS, sometimes its just gas cap loose or not put back on certain models. Then there's the ones that says Cat converter or the CPU which they usually want arm and leg to replace..
IMO I only take CK engine light to trusted dealer. (yes some dealers are wacked also) You may pay little more but they usually do it right??? Any tire and lub. place not the place to go for computer problems on car IMO. Especially if you know nothing about how it functions and they probably don't either??). They could of made OBDU 2 or what ever system there up to now and what the call it with troubleshoot program that would tell you what's wrong, but the dealer or who ever wouldn't get couple hundred bucks connecting fees pulling the code malfunction and reset. |

Looks like its a TIRE CHOICE, type of operation--another place to avoid. Someone ought to tell them to clean up their act.

I think you would be my choice. I think you would be diplomatic and to the point with Tire Choice. Let me know what they say?

Villages had 2 DQ's in the past. One on 466 & one on 441. Both went belly-up. |

You can't correct corporate corruption--what they do is not limited to one store--they almost killed a neighbor of mine-she had a high performance car-like my wife's--the rear tires are a different size than the front- they put the same size tires on all 4 wheels and the car was all over the road-would not handle @ all

Went to a different Pep Boys to have a burned out turn signal light replaced. Not easy to get to. Got quote on phone of 25 to 30 dollars. I do not recall the exact price. The person did spend a minute or two looking up the price for the car. Went to have the work done and the price was over 40. Told them about the phone est but had to pay 40. Also picked up a tool box while I was waiting. Price was 14.98 but they charged 21.60. Complained and since the price was posted they charged me the posted price of 14.98. Guess you have to be careful where you shop.
