You need to add larbud & RubiTHECon to that list.

Michelle Obama was a great First Lady and Melania is anything but. I love my country. I do not have to love my President. The whole world is shocked that the Americans put someone like him in office - that's who laughing. I pray that this country fares well over his time as President but I'm not so sure the little guy will be better off. His first 100 days they will take away their healthcare and then it will be any assistance they have received. You say you love your children and grandchildren and don't even care about climate change and wake up because it's real. Shame on all of you of what you did.
Susan - Some are Christians and this country is one nation under God. I agree this country does have various colors and religions. Pray all you want, it wont hurt this country. No, you don't have to love your president. I assume the press told you the whole world is shocked and laughing at us...

Shortly, Don will confront you with data to prove this country is being taken over by Hispanics. The part that is "too bad" for all of us, is a good number of them are here illegally. Those illegal immigrants will work for less wages, that drives wages down for the legal residents of our country.

I have no idea how you have come to the conclusion Melania is not going to be a good First Lady. Your statement seems unfounded, I don't remember anyone raving about Michelle Obama 3 days after the 2008 inauguration.

Unfortunately we don't have too many perfect people in this country that want to serve as president (I am guessing you are perfect and just too busy to help the country you love so much).

I have been disappointed, numerous times, with the candidates that we have to choose from. I was not an Obama fan at all, he had no business experience and very little political experience. He was combatant on the details of his past, and came across to me as an ambulance chaser. I believe people voted for Obama based on race alone and that did not seem to be important enough for me to overlook his other shortcomings. I did not love John McCain, but I liked his military and political experience and the transparency in his campaign, so I voted for McCain.

In 2012, I had felt the burden of a far too long stagnant economy along with more tax burden equating to "less food on the table", and the talks of another government benefit plan - Obamacare. I voted for Romney as I thought he did a great job with the Massachusetts's deficit reduction and had both business and political experience, along with experience of establishing a successful healthcare program.

In 2016, I had to choose between Clinton or Trump...neither one is as perfect as you are. I was tired of Obama's direction (The Land of The Free Ride), Hillary was running on the promise of continuing Obama's direction and she certainly did not seem honest and above reproach, the "woman" thing was a non issue to me. Trump had business experience, he realized the burden having 52% of the people on government assistance programs, he did not seem as dishonest and as susceptible to bribery as Clinton appeared to me. I voted for Trump.

One thing is for sure; regardless if Clinton or Trump got elected; Obamacare was going to be changed. It was a flawed program. Our, my wife and I, health insurance premiums have gone from $750 a month to $1300 a month in the last 2 years, and we are never sick. I can't afford to pay, and do not want to pay for other peoples healthcare at this rate of increase.

As for the little guys losing their assistance; The assistance is most likely making him a little guy. This country has held back (not helped) groups of people for generations, all under the guise of "trying to help". There has been little motivation for these people to support themselves when they can live off government assistance forever. 48% of the people are supporting the other 52%. That is a flawed program that has to be remedied or this country will be bankrupt and not only the little guy loses, but even the big guy that gets up every day to support himself will lose.

I do love my kids. I used to tell my kids (from birth) "right after cake and ice cream on your 18th birthday, you are out of here". I wanted them to be prepared for life, I wanted them to know I expected them to be able to support themselves at age 18. My oldest is closing on his first home in a couple weeks, he is 24. If he can support himself, anyone else could support themselves. My daughter will be graduating in May with a nursing degree, she is 22. She has a few job offers already, so I am fairly confident she will be able to support herself. I doubt I am the only one on here that has kids that are able to support themselves, question is who on here wants their kids to support other people that are not as motivated?

My opinion of climate change is still in the observation phase. While we have had some warmer weather, there are still those record highs that we don't seem to be eclipsing? I do believe the cars of today are a lot more efficient (50mpg) and less emissions(remember smelling gas in the fumes at red lights?).

To me, the real SHAME is the people protesting because their candidate did not win. If anything, that is causing more of a scene to other countries than Trump himself. It really did seem the further he went in the election the more negative news was thrown at him. I don't have much faith in the news today, they said Trump had 24% chance of winning the election...

I believe Trump will prove himself to his critics, I hope he focuses on eliminating the financial support of the lazy, repealing Obamacare / getting health insurance back to affordable rates, stop the illegal immigrants from crossing our borders, and boost economy while reducing the deficit.

What do you hope for?

We are a Christian majority country, yes.

Trump cares only for his billionaire friends? Hardly. Your liberal talking points are a bit dated. You obviously do not know Trump.

Take away someone's health care? Obama did that with millions and that is why Trump got elected. Please explain where Trump said he intended to take anyone's health care away. You can't. You are just mouthing, without facts to back you.

Do we care about Climate Change? I can not speak for others, but I don't care. The air is better now than when I was a kid, and that is a fact. Do I want to limit living for humans so that it makes some libtard less unhappy, NO. Climate change is just your means of taking from those that have to give to the lazy losers. Restrictions that are useless only damage progress, and I know how you libtards love progress. Actually, progress and libtard is an oxymoron because libtards wish socialism which is regressive.

So, if you wish to find fault with Trump, then at least try to be legit with your complaint and criticize one of his REAL policies. Not a campaign promise but a real policy.

Wow!

The others came later during the open immigration periods. We ARE a "Christian" nation and the founders WERE either Christian or (secretly) nothing.

Exactly...the PRESS...the MEDIA...is saying this. It's ALL theater designed to pit one against the other...to divide and conquer.

They were here illegally and unfortunately, they dropped kids while they were here who are now considered "white citizens". So many came and dropped so many kids...that now Hispanics are the majority below age 7. The anchor babies population has been growing for the last 30 years...in 30 more, Hispanics will be the majority...Spanish WILL be the "unofficial, official language"...if not the official language as THEY vote in Hispanic politicians.

Unfortunately...the "system" makes it almost impossible for ANYONE other than the D and R party to even get on the ballot. I retired young and when I retired, I had the time to read, to learn, and I learned just how corrupt our government and the system is. I decided to be Mr Smith, go to Washington and begin a crusade to fix things. Well the "system" put a kibosh on that. 10,000 signatures just to start. The "system" is there to protect the "system". Trump wouldn't have been elected if he wasn't playing ball...the EC, the "system" wouldn't have let it happen. It's all been reality TV.

Because EVERY D or R candidate is a bought and paid for crook. Even DT. They're put there by those who really run things. They don't care WHO win the primaries, they all "play ball" and will do as told.

His whole POW story is a fake...many say he WAS treated special because of his father. NOT treated worse. I don't know, I wasn't there...but I DO know he loves wars and some of his ideas are literally insane. He was the R party sacrificial lamb who had NO chance of winning. Just like Hillary was denied for the 2nd time even AFTER her "deal" to let Obama win. Those in power just don't want her there...probably the TRUE rogue. I don't think they trust her.

Romney is almost literally...Gordon Gekko from the movie "wall street" if you want to see what you would have gotten...watch the movie. ALL presidential candidates are psychopathic narcissists.

We're already bankrupt, we'll stay bankrupt until people no longer have "faith" in the US and it collapses...same as it ALWAYS does. EVERY fiat currency eventually collapses. EVERY empire eventually collapses. We're well on our way. The decline started in the 60s. We WERE #1 and now, with the decline, the quotas, reduced standards, we've begun the slide and we're now at #25...and falling. We "diluted" everything with women and minorities...we TRADED greatness for "equality" where NONE exists.

If you use $1 million...a pretty average amount of "healthcare dollars" in your lifetime...for the insurance companies to "break even" you'd have had to pay them $1,250 a month for 66 years. These are the rates people must be paying for these levels of payouts. Plus, you have to add the 50 million poor who are now covered by insurance that YOU are paying for. You can't insure 50 million people costing upwards of $60 billion a year for free. Adding the 50 million poor to insurance added $1,250 a year to EVERY taxpayers bill.

A mother of four can get $60,000 a year in "assistance"...WHY would they EVER leave welfare? EVERY child of theirs under age 18 is eligible for welfare. They just pop out another kid when they need a "pay increase". Welfare "reform" just shifted eligibility/payments from the mother to the child. There are more than ever collecting some form of welfare.

Women and minorities collect the welfare. They live off the backs of the white men they despise. It's unsustainable.

We ARE bankrupt...$20 TRILLION in debt, over a $ TRILLION deficit every year. We borrow to pay off what we previously borrowed. We're bankrupt and only the military is supporting us. We have our iron boot on everyone's neck. We threaten global destruction if ANYONE threatens us or our "system". Look a Libya, Iraq, Syria...where we move in and destroy leaders who don't want to play our game. "We're" not the good guys...our LEADERS are NOT the good guys. That's Hollywood propaganda. We haven't been on the RIGHT side of a conflict in a LONG time.

That's you ONLY job...make more white people who are self sufficient and a net positive for society. That's NOT what we're getting, we're being bred out by 3rd world cavemen as they...via welfare...can "afford" to pump out kid after kid. It's WHY they're the majority below age 7.

Earths temperature goes up and down...naturally. There have been ice ages and warm tropical periods. I'm sure we're not helping...but how much DOES CO2 contribute? It's NOT as strong a greenhouse gas as plain old WATER VAPOR and water vapor is billions of times more plentiful. I think it's just another government get rich scheme. Just another tax to pay that they can skim from.

Personally...I think Trump is more...meet the new boss...same as the old boss. Hope I'm wrong. But he's running with the wrong crowd...they're not good people.

Want to be TRULY happy? Live in an ignorant bliss...know nothing about anything and let others take care of/worry about everything. Be the wife of a rich man. Momma knew best.
