Sounds like his new life in Minnesota was the same as his old life in Houston but colder.
I'm not defending what the officer did but I would point out that we don't have all of the facts. There are reports about what happened prior to the video that we see that we have seen that may change things.
One of the things about him yelling that he couldn't breathe is that suspects often say that when being subdued. I think that police are trained to ignore it because if a person is yelling, he's breathing. If a person truly cannot breathe then cannot vocalize.
We may disagree on a lot of things, but hopefully, we can agree on this:
