Thanks for posting that Daily News report with copies of his police and court records. It was startling. (I’m not going to stick up, though, for the cops who killed him.) The bloodwork from the police autopsy also shows that he was high on Fentanyl at the time of his death and had methamphetamine in his bloodstream. Sounds like his new life in Minnesota was the same as his old life in Houston but colder.

I'm not defending what the officer did but I would point out that we don't have all of the facts. There are reports about what happened prior to the video that we see that we have seen that may change things.

One of the things about him yelling that he couldn't breathe is that suspects often say that when being subdued. I think that police are trained to ignore it because if a person is yelling, he's breathing. If a person truly cannot breathe then cannot vocalize.

We may disagree on a lot of things, but hopefully, we can agree on this:
