We did change eye doctors. My Dad was blind in one eye his eyesight was getting worse. I still think the eye doctor should have mentioned she was going to contact the State of Florida and have his driver's license pulled.
Cut that eye Doctor some slack, she did your Dad, your family and the public a HUGE favor. It is very difficult to give up the right to drive and once someone kills themself or other people because of a vision error, its too late. Maybe she had a legal obligation to do so.
