They were Italian Greyhounds.....the male was almost 12 lbs. and the female was 10 lbs. They are a very gentle breed and great with kids. Terrific lapdogs! And they don't shed...they are considered a hairless breed. We had to put them down almost two years ago now. They were 14 yrs. and 13 yrs. in this picture.

Sorry to hear that. We just got an Italian Grayhound puppy a few weeks ago, right after I posted the question. Thought they might have been Whippets. He's almost 4 months old now. We are having a heck of a time house breaking him. He seems very stubborn when it comes to that. How were yours?
