Default New Cart Pricing

I will be shopping for a new cart in the near future. Is there any room for negotiations in price or is it a fixed firm price at the local dealers?

My understanding is there isn't much room for negotiation at The Villages Golf Cart stores, but Carts and Clubs in Ocala not only sells a superior product, but negotiate and are anxious for your business. They also will come to your home and service minor issues and well as tune ups. It would really be worth your time to compare what the two have to offer and how they differ.

Just get outside TV and shop you will be amazed how much you can save in Orlando or Tampa.

Or if you really want to save they are built in Atlanta Ga.

Yes the local dealer must service under warranty.

Go to Cart World Golf Carts and look at their Club Car factory re-manufactured carts if you are looking for the best value in carts.

I agree with Jimbo! The golf cart dealers have a captive market here and do get TOP dollar for golf carts. They do provide a sense of security to buyers who feel that buying locally will establish a positive relationship with both parties.

If you do some research on the internet, there are many golf cart dealers outside "The Bubble" where you can get a new cart for considerably less money, especially out of state. Delivery charges range from $0 to $250.

I've seen them for $5500 online add about 750 for curtains and a few options most have here.

I see them here for $11,000 so a BIG saving

I stay away from online items. So if brick and mortar disappear I am in big trouble. do agree that buying outside TV saves quite a bit and/or allows you to get more for your budget.

If you need hand holding buy in TV and pay for it. If you want to save a little money go to Carts and Clubs in Ocala. If you want to save a lot of money and have minimal hand holding go to Country Village Power Eqiupment in Webster.

My experience: I checked out Yamaha, EZGO, Club Car, and Par Car, and here are my results.

1) EZGO,, CR 44 Wildwood

2) Yamaha,, Carts & Clubs, 441/27 Ocala

3) Club Car,, CR 441/27 Lady Lake

4) Par Car,, CR 441/27 Leesburg

The EZGO is a better cart overall, however Yamaha is fine should you go with them.

I purchased an EZGO Gas Cart and my research was all based on Gas Carts only..The Villages is huge and a gas cart vs electric was the more sensible option.

I can't evaluate electric carts, but when it comes to gas carts, I think the Club Car is best, followed by Yamaha.

Not only can you expect local dealers to fix carts purchased elsewhere under warranty, but you will find a number of very skilled, honest repair services near TV to handle repairs and regular maintenance after the warranty expires. I can therefore see no reason to purchase a new cart anywhere near TV. That is, unless money is really no object.

Shopped around and made the trip to Carts and Clubs. Bought a Yamaha gas with direct injection. Very satisfied and I like the modifications Carts and Clubs do to the Yamaha to make it an even better cart. Delivered the cart right to my house. Spent an hour going over every detail on the cart. Will come in a few weeks to do an oil change and inspection. Very satisfied customer.

Default And the price is?

What would be a "good price" for a 2014 Yamaha EFI, Folding windshield, Light kit, turn sigs etc, high speed gear, and some decent 10" wheels?

I will go to Carts and Clubs and see what they offer. If I buy a cart from existing inventory I expect quick delivery. If they have to build one, how long does it take to get delivery.
