Default windshields

My wife and I are not the tallest kids on the block.
The bifold seam of the windshield falls right in our line of vision.
Is there an alternative to the regular glass ?

Thanks,
Phil and Pat

What is LC3? Is that a shop or a brand of cart? I'm 6' tall and the hinge in the center bugs me, too.

That seam is one of the reasons I bought my Polaris. I'm under 5 feet tall and the window split is just below my line of sight. Makes driving so much easier!

Friends of ours recently bought a new Yamaha from The Villages Golf Cars and had them install the solid windshield option.

After this post I started noticing various windshields. They are different. Mine happens to be well below my line of sight but I have notice others are higher. I would ask the cart vendor if they can put in a different wind screen. The split is really great this time of year.

There are a number of selections on the windshield. Keep asking for the options until u find one where the split is not eye level.

We prefer the split window as it can be opened for a nice breeze.

It seems the simplest way to settle your problem of the window crack is, why not sit on some sort of a pad or pillow to raise your body to have your vision above the crack?

I would imagine that a pad that is sold for a patio two-seat sofa would suffice, yes?

Seems the simplest way IMO......b

We were using a newer EZ-Go RXV for a little bit and that bar was in the way for both of us. (I'm 6'1" and shorter half is almost 5'1") We picked up a '98 Club Car DS and the bar is significantly lower and not as annoying.

Default Besides the height of the split -

After nearly eating two bugs with the top window down last week...

We're going to install one of those screens on the top section. Still get the breeze but no bugs. A couple of TOTV folk have the screen and they seem to work well.
