Default Yamaha Tail Light/ blinker replacement

Has anyone had the problem I have with getting to the light bulb to replace it. There are no screws and the plastic surround doesn’t easily pop out. 2006 Yamaha refurbished in 2008 see picture. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the rubber gasket come off with screws behind it?

There is no bulb to replace on that tail light. The whole unit gets replaced. Rubber piece is just press fit into place, no screws hold it in place. The replacement light is inexpensive to replace. However, now could be a good time to up grade to LED if you wanted too. They do make a LED light that fits in there.
