In the Daily Sun, Villages Parcar runs an ad saying that Columbia Par Cars "...go over 80 miles on a single charge." Is that accurate or advertising hype?

I have been asking the same question and was told that Par Car did a supervised and ideal condition related test once and got 80 miles.
I doubt all things equal that an electric cart can get 80 miles per charge on a consistent basis. I would be happy to get 50-60. I have 6-8 volt batteries and get 35-40. But honestly I don't trust even that and charge by batteries after each use By the way par car used 8 maintenace free batteries that are very expensive |

If you go real slow and drive in a level parking lot.

...And I'll wager those batteries were fried into uselessness at the end of the test! But, yes, they did do it and ended up at Lake Sumter Landing, amid much fanfare.

The Par Car will easily do 80 miles on a charge if u run them downhill with a stiff wind to ur back.
