I have a club car, 48 v, precedent. I have checked the batteries, and they read atleast 12 v each. My problem is this, when I start to accelerate, it is very slow to pick up speed, as if the batteries were low. Any ideas?

Here is a good guideline to check out the state of the batteries. As you can see by the chart on the page below 12 V is the reading of a battery more than 50% discharged; 12.73 volts for fully charged.

did this problem get fixed
![]() you can test the voltage of the batteries with the cart jacked up, hook up meter and press go pedal. this will give you an under load test and with your static test will give you a good idea whats wrong. you can check pack this way also. |
