Default Cart Tires

I bought a new cart and have been having issues with the tires. To be more exact, they seem to be out of round or balance. The dealer put on a new set of tires but the issue still is there. Does any know of a cart repair shop/person that will balance the tires. the dealer insists the only way is to shave the tire to be round, but if the issue is balance vs roundness ZI don't see how this will work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could be a bent wheel, perhaps - especially if it's a continual feel of something being wrong/out of balance (versus only occurring at a specific speed). Could be a bent axle/wheel spindle. Also could be a flat spot in a tire from it sitting in one place for a long period of time.

But if the dealer says they changed the tires, I'd think they would have changed the tires and wheels as an assembly. So that should rule out the problem being with a tire or wheel.

I just had my fourth set of tires put on my new golf car to try and fix the problem. Sometimes they changed them all, and once they just changed two. I am at the end of my rope. Don't know what to do now. I don't think there is any point in having them changed again. I am going to go to the dealer tomorrow and see if there are any options, which I doubt. I paid $550 extra for 12 inch tires and rims because the salesman told me that this would fix the problem. I cannot understand why they cannot be balanced. I had a mini in the 70s and they balanced those tires, why can't they do these. Would sure like to hear if anyone has the answer to this problem.

I think if the dealer sold you those 12" tires and they didn't solve the problem, I'd give them back. What type of cart did you buy and where?

I dont think balancing the wheels will make a difference, the wheels are to small and they really dont spin fast enough. My guess is the wheels and/or the tires are defective. Try going to a 10 inch wheel and tire combo. Thats what I have and have no issues. Also I see tons of other carts with 10 inchers.

Balancing the tires may not solve the problem. The tires may be getting flat spots from sitting in your garage. BB

Same problem here with 14" SS rims and low profile tires. Villages carts says just how they all ride. I'll see when they rotate them during the 1st year checkup.
