As you point out, they're simply renovated old ClubCars or EZ-Go's, with a body stuck on them.
10 years ago they were considered a "super cool" thing to have. At one point hula hoops and "dusty buck shoes" were super hot. Men's hair styles were once super short on top and sides. Today it looks like a little bit long on top and short or shaved on the sides is the in-fashion men's hair style. In the future...who knows ??? Maybe blue on one side and red on the other ???

American Made: MBA Twits/DEI Incompetents/Union Parasites.

The Chinese culture (Confucianism/Taoism) does not allow for suffering fools and parasite. This is why the Chinese FAR outproduce USA and Europe combined and most likely will never change. The Chinese productive market is much freer than the West. They stopped being Communist Parasites 30 years ago.

I buy based on longevity and easy to get parts and service. Because of this I have two Yamaha fuel running carts, one 12 years old and one almost 10 years old. Both have served me well. One has needed a part and the other nothing as of yet. The jury is out on the Chinese carts, but I have a feeling they are not going to fare well in the 10 years and beyond for parts and service.
By the way, I have had my wife now for almost 50 years now and so far, no parts but she seems to require a fair amount of service.

I have one of the dreaded Chinese carts, 3 years old and so far so good. You're right about the parts availability, only time will tell.

Mine has started to groan, creak and dribble. I don't know what to do for her other than put a drip towel under her and give her a lube job from time to time... If she sees this post I'll swear TOtV was hacked and one of you wrote this.

Do to labor laws, unions, minimum wage law, NAFT agreement, no American company can compete with $3 to 5.25 hour wage. Why all the industrialists move out country. Another news flash most ANYTHING made in America has electronic and casting for China or others where they have nearly slave labor and NO EPA to deal with. Plus China steals manufacturing secrets. Chin not dumbed down like we are? Good example Mexico where they can do what they want and waste pollution blows across border where it’s illegal I this country but still get the pollution. IMO there no going back, soon the table will flip especially wasting trillions going to the moon or building moon base. Now it private companies want to go to moon and build base OK. But they know it waste money unless the government funding it.
