Default Opinions please?

We are moving to TV in four weeks (if all goes according to plan).

A 2005 Club Car came with the house we bought.

The Villages Insurance needs an estimate of value so I can insure it. I haven't got a clue about golf cart values, so I turn to you TOTV'ers to share your knowledge of golf carts and their value.

It looks clean, the sunbrella seat and curtains are not worn, the batteries have no corrosion but I didn't check for brand or dates, 48V, it has new tires on the rear but needs new tires on the front. Other than I can't tell you much more about it. I am not in Florida so I can't look at it and tell you any more details.

My guess is $2,000...what do you think?

I have no idea, but couldn't you call a golf cart dealer here and tell them the situation and ask for an estimate? Don't have to be here to call....

That's not a bad guess. You can say anywhere between $2,000 to $2,500, I would think. If you were to sell it, that's about what you could expect to get for it.

I have a 2004 Club Car in decent shape with 1.5 year old batteries and $2000 is a real good guess.

I have discovered that the cart is a 2003 Club Car Pathway IQ model with 4-wheel brakes. I think $2000 is top end for this cart. Oddly, the insurace categories are either less than $5,000 or more than $5,000.

You might be able to get a sense of the asking prices of golf carts on www.TheGolfCartGuide.com
