I was hit broadside by another Cart, contact was at the front wheel, I can't figure out whet is bent, there is scraping when making hard turn. what should i be looking at?

If you can jack up the front of the cart, try hand spinning the front wheels when the steering is turned hard. See if you feel or hear any noise. This may not work as the wheels are unloaded and will be clear of the frame. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO UNDER THE CART. You could also look at the frame in the area of the front tires to see if there is evidence of rubbing. Send me a PM if you need help.

Bent wheel which is now scraping the spindle, OR spindle is bent and is now scraping the wheel, or a broken hub. Those are most common for a club car D/S hit as described.

Club car ds front end parts are readily available, easy to replace, and cheap. Goggle discount cart parts.
I would jack it up put it on jack stands. Compare the bent side to the non hit side. You should see something wrong or bent. No jack, jack stands, or able to determine what's wrong or bent. As recommended above call the golf cart repairman. |
