[QUOTE=PoolBrews;2220475]I'm very intrigued with the new Evolution D5 - it's a 4 passenger forward facing cart that is no longer than a standard cart.

The potential issue I see is that the specs shows the height to be 79.5". This is 10" taller than my Yamaha Drive 2.
According the the chart tunnel B7 and B4 are the shortest near the side wall. These two tunnels also have a cement curbing down the center which may prevent you from using the high spot for clearance…

If U go less than 25 you'll be passed by many others, in fact you will be passed even going 25.

Not many drive 20mph

The evolution is a pretty good electric cart if you're looking for a lower price point. Don't be sucked in by the 9" display. The quality is average at best. Take a look a new US manufacturer called ATLAS golf carts. Made in the US and much higher quality materials and workmanship. They have them at Villages Discount Golf carts on 441.

I looked at the Florida and wiper blades are not required. These items are--
Headlamps;
Front and rear turn signals;
Stop lamps;
Tail lamps;
Reflex reflectors, red – one each side and one on the rear;
Exterior mirror on the driver side and an interior rear-view mirror or exterior mirror on passenger side;
Parking brake;
Windshield;
Seat belt for each designated seat; and a
Vehicle identification number (VIN).

The Atlas doesn't offer a 4 forward facing seat golf cart the same length as a standard cart - that is specifically what intrigued me.

Is there a map that shows all of the tunnels with their designation next to them (i.e. shows map of golf cart trails and where there's a tunnel shows CR1, MB1, etc)?

So no matter where you're driving it in the Villages, you would be driving it illegally.
HAHAHAHA!!! What you just described there is 95% of the golf cars in the villages....and sold by every dealer in the villages! Also, an FYI… A golf "cart" is something you pull behind you when you walk. YOU DRIVE A GOLF CAR....

Does anyone have one of these yet, and if so, have you had any issues with tunnels? I'm at the north end of The Villages so we have some of the shortest tunnels around.
I have a 2022 STAR EV and it also is much taller than the Yamaha. It is 79" tall and I have never encountered a tunnel I couldn't navigate while staying in my lane.

No, that is just The Villages Cars propaganda. Go anyplace else and it's a cart. I will continue to use cart.

In our old neighborhood friends just bought a EV5, so far no tunnel issues, but the top comes very close to their garage door entry. He said it was a good thing they have a golf cart garage, because with their screened side of the garage it may not go wi without slight scraping of the top. Haven’t seen it in their garage, but in older homes it may be a problem

Nope!
That's a pull or push cart.
You definitely ride in a Golf Cart.
