Golf Cart Age
Since I am ignorant about golf carts, I was wondering if one wanted to buy a used cart, at what age or year it is considered to be old?

Depends gas 5-7, electric 10+
Alll depends what was done over the years. Club Cars with an aluminum frame should hold up better than steel frame brands.

If you're looking at Yamaha gas carts, be sure it's a 2007 or newer. That's when the "Yamaha Drive" model was introduced. It has a lot of improvements over the older models. There's a mfg. decal with the year right behind the driver's seat. I have a 2009 and love it.

one of our gas is 2003 refurb. Runs like a top. as long as you keep up service they should run until you get tired of it
