Friendly reminder! When you rent a golf cart in The Villages, be cautious. Please before you hand over the cash check out the golf cart, don't be naive. We just rented from 1st car Rental, llc from Marc. The golf cart was all ripped in the seams and it was very cold. We also got very nauseous from the fumes discharging as we rode in the cart..we tried emailing and received no response. We reserved the cart through email,so we know the email works. When the person came to pick up the cart he was exceptionally rude and our children and grandchildren were shocked, and we were told "he did not need us." So please beware !

Unfortunately, you were not the first to experience poor quality and rude behaviour. This guy Marc has victimized so many unsuspecting renters over the past few years. There has to be some way of shutting this guy down as he has hurt so many people. You can just search his company name on this site and you will find similar horrors. Disgusting!

Do a little research, I just rented a cart for friends in from out of town and the cart was brand new. Had everything on it that we needed. The cart was a 2015 Yamaha gas cart was very happy with the experience.

Friends of ours have been renting from Geno Golf Carts, 609.598.1709 for the last 5 years or so and continue to use him. We rented two carts from him the first month we were here and had no issues. The last two years we rented from Barbara Hocking, 352.259.8395 because we needed a 4 seat cart. Also, no issues with her carts.
