Dunno. But those numbers are like fish. The more the story gets told, the more the fish weighs.

It is not the size but how you use it can apply to many fields of endeavor.

These parades go slow and the carts are close together. I was in one once, behind a gas cart. Never again! Will quickly convince you to go electric.

We had approximately 150 in the 1st parade

When leaving the parking lot at Creekside ours was number 852 and there were at least a couple of hundred still behind us, Also at brownwood we were told about another 400 came up from below 44 so my best guess is around 1,400. We did have one unhappy soul flip us the bird on the way to Brownwood. Not too classy but that's on him.....

I think the number was closer to 4000. Plus, everybody is saying that if someone hadn't blocked the MMP's leading to the parade there would have been another 1000-1500.

I participated in a July 13 parade that staged in Sumter Landing . No alcohol was evident. Only one protester along the parade route. REALLY fun time

Just a couple of thoughts:

- there have been multiple reports in the 1,000 range (750ish, 850ish, 1,000, 1,400)
- there was a report of a line of carts nearly a mile long
- at 15ft per cart (8' for the cart plus a gap between) a 4,000 cart parade would be over 11 miles long
- the distance from LSL to Brownwood is six miles - a 4,000 cart parade would fill the entire route with nearly 1,000 carts already parked at Brownwood and another 1,000 carts still waiting to leave from LSL
- the distance from LSL to Fenney is 13 miles - a 4,000 cart parade would fill nearly that entire route

A mute point since gas carts rule!

I wasn't in this parade, but I was in one four years ago when the first cart arrived at Spanish Springs before the last ones had left the staging point at Lake Miona Rec Center. So, yes, 4000 carts is possible.

The one "unhappy soul" who flipped the parade off~

Maybe he has no soul... and therein lies the problem.

My favorite is the annual St. Patrick’s Day golf cart parade in Spanish Springs. Love the Irish green, corn beef and cabbage, and Guinness: )

We need to beat that record with the next rally before November!
