Default Gravity feed battery watering system question

I have one of those filler systems where the little wheel spins until the batteries are full. Despite the fact that the wheel is still spinning rapidly, I see traces of water seeping around the battery caps. The caps are tight. Am I over-filling or is the feeder system faulty? Your thoughts, please.
(Batteries are less than a year old. I asked mobile battery guys; never got an answer.)

Mine has a bit of leakage right at the end, but by then the wheel is barely spinning

You could try lowering your watertank (so the pressure is lower) to just above the top of the batteries

Ask any really good golf car tech about those and they will all tell you the same thing. They wouldnt have one on their golf car.

Because you have one, I would recommend that when the wheel starts to slow down, disconnect it. The systems are notorious for over filling, and chances are good that is what yours is doing.
