Default Hot Golf cart seats - how to adapt and make comfortable

Came down last week and played golf, realized the seats are way tooo warm on our newer cart. Looking for suggestions of what works best to cool the seat? We covered with a beach towel but hoping there is another material you found to work? Newer Yamaha. No butt jokes please

I light colored towel works well for us, we remove just prior to getting into the seat and replace when we leave the seat.. For golfing I would just leave it on the seat.

As “Villagetinker” says KEEP IT SIMPLE a simple beach towel works fine.

Every time I sit on a hot golf cart seat I smile because I’m not sitting my frozen a$$ on my snow and ice covered tractor seat plowing during a blizzard up north. It’s all relative : )

I bought these for my newer Yamaha. Fit great and really made a difference because of the airflow. My wife still sits on a towel on top of the covers because the material is a little scratchy on the back of her thighs. But my shorts are longer and I have no issue. I love them!

We use these from Etsy (search Golf Me Around if the link is not allowed by TOTV). I have a fully reversible thick terry cloth one that is red on one side, and an American Flag on the other. They have a metric ton of designs from which to opt.

Imagine, THE VILLAGES a place where people post, complain, about a hot golf cart seat.
Never a farmer but I keep seeing shows about air conditioned, tractors, with GPS, wide screen movies and a sexy robot to serve meals and snacks. Watch out for the complaint that there are not enough peanuts in the pack.
