i would offer you the following repair shop
carts and clubs in Ocala, they visit the villages at least four times a week and stand behind the work. |

It could be the vent tube on top of axle housing on the passenger side. These vents were put in by Yamaha and not Dana who makes the rear end. When I worked for Yamaha they had us plugging the vent tube with sillicone to stop them from leaking.

Call Willy Wilcoxon, he's been great for us. he'll come to your house and is very reasonable & knowledgable. Our cart is a Yamaha too.

Thanks for the ideas...
I'll look at that vent tube. I'd like to get it fixed while my Wife is out of town and I can have unfettered use of the big car.

Redwitch, I was unable to respond to your PM, but Willy Wilcoxon's phone number is 352-255-1369. Good Luck!

Thank you! Gave him a call and he's coming tomorrow to fix my baby. (Have no idea what the problem with the PM is.)

Willie Wilcoxon
He came over to check out my Yamaha leak... Turns out to be input shaft leak and pan leak on the differential. Since it needed to go into a shop for repair, he referred me to Southern Cart Works. Willie followed up on my call and he called to see if he could come early today since he had a cancellation. No charge for the cart checkout since it wasn't something he could fix.
I liked Willie and his straight forward approach to the problem and the limits of his ability to do the repair from his mobile truck. Thanks for the recommendation.

Willie dropped by this morning and fixed the throttle on my cart. Also did a couple of little jobs like fixing a couple of snaps and didn't even charge me for them. He's going to take my cart to his shop next week to replace a spacer, which will help with my noise issue.
He seems to really know his stuff, is very reasonably priced, is reliable and I think I'm in love! I've tried five different mechanics, including the Villages Golf Cart shop. I was okay with Larry at AAA1 but Willie is steps above all I've tried.
