Looking for a golf group?

We’re a group guys (Villagers) who play all TV championship courses on a rotating basis and we’re looking for some new members to fill attrition voids we’ve experienced this past year...full time and snowbirds all welcome. We play on Wednesdays and Fridays…some guys play both days, some play only one day. We play 18 holes, early morning, usually 0730 tee times except when it’s cold and we start a bit later. We play different games for a little money and always have closest to the pin holes on par 3’s. $5 ante each week and we try to pay 1/3-1/2 of the field, so many chances to win a little money and bragging rights. Since we use a quota system that levels everyone out, everyone has the same chance to win. We play by USGA rules plus some local rules to adjust for our age and skill. Most of us play green tees, some play white, and you can play any tee of your choice because our quota system equals everyone out. We take players of all abilities…high and low handicappers. GHIN not required as we use a quota system that evens out everyone’s ability so it’s a level playing field. We eat lunch together and do payouts after the round but that’s optional. We play “ready golf” and generally finish in 4 hours or less depending if we have to wait on groups in front of us. We’re out to have a good time together, play some golf, laugh and joke among ourselves…we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we do play by the rules. We are all priority members so we get preferred tee times. If you are not priority we will work with you for a few weeks until you know you like our group, then we’ll expect you to get priority.
