Default Golf Cart Distance

A 2009 Yamaha 2 seater with 8-6volt batteries, How far should a single chargetake you??

Depends on the quality/capacity of the batteries, how well they have been maintained, where you are driving, and whether you keep your foot to the floor. Assuming the batteries are original, and well maintained, I would expect about 30+/- miles on a full charge.

I would start by saying a new broken in pack of 8 - 6 volt batteries should take you 50+ miles without discharging the pack too greatly (beyond 50%).

Now you begin to subtract as mikeod has stated based on many things. There is really no way to predict range without some more information about the state of pack. As an example, if you have one shorted battery your range could be 12 miles.
