You'll notice most stations are boating Marina's and most gas without ethanol is high octane. Most people assume "high octane" or "high test" gas gives more power when in fact it doesn't and the higher the octane the slower buring it is for high compression engines. Your engine designed for reg. gas will run better on regular gas.
I'd get the StaBil for ethanol, use the max amount (you can't use too much)and shut off the gas from the tank and let it run out of gas. Other than having someone starting and running it for you once a month, that's the best you can do.

Effective July 1, 2013, ethanol is no-longer required by Florida law to be added to automobile fuel. (H.B. 4001, signed into law 5/31/13) There are a few gas stations in the area that have E-0 fuel (with octane ratings from 87 to 93) for use in lawn mowers, rec vehicles, etc. but none in The Villages. We need to convince the golf-cart accessible gas stations in The Villages to carry E-0 fuel. You can be sure that the first station to do so will be overwhelmed by golf cart owners who are savvy about the adverse effects of ethanol in their fuel and will demand E-0 fuel. I need a new gas cart, but will not buy one until E-0 fuel is available in The Villages. Talk to the owners of all of the gas stations in The Villages.

This is the best news I've heard in a long time. When ethanol was first used I noticed an immediate 10% reduction in gas mileage due to ethanol having less energy than gas. If a station anywhere near TV carries low octane gas without ethanol I'll use it in my car, motorcycle and golfcart.

Right now, all of the stations near TV carry 90 octane, only. I use it in both of my cars - a 2001 Miata that LOVES it (10-1 compression ratio) and a 2012 Nissan (10.3-1 compression ratio) The Nissan service manager says the Nissan is better off with E-0 although the car will get used to the 90 octane and won't like 87 E-10 octane, temporarily, if I switch back. ( a computer thingy). Anyway, there are enough E-0 gas stations along any route I plan to travel in the near future until TV gets with the program and sells E-0.

Try using a product named K100. You can see it on youtube.com. It is available from the motorcycle shop on rte 25 out by Gator Joes.

Thanks, I posted it on the pure-gas.org site. Station owners I have talked to say there is not much demand for E-0 right now except for lawn mowers, tractors and people with classic/sports cars. I believe that is because very few people are aware that the law in Florida has changed and they are under the impression that they have no choice but to knuckle under and continue to destroy their vehicles with ethanol. Gear heads know about the damage that ethanol causes.

Folks, if you want to increase the availability of E-0 fuel, you need to start making that known to stations in TV. Like I said before, I will not buy a gas golf cart until E-0 is available at stations in TV.
