Default Solar Power for Golf Carts?

I have been reading about solar panels retrofitted to gc tops. Anybody in TV do this kind of work. It sounds like the answer to gas vs elect if the range is increased.

I can see solar power as an enhancement to either gas or electric. However, as a primary source I think you'd find it insufficient when you park your cart in the garage. I seem to recall Karl from All About Carts (352) 409-2702 talking about this the last time he was at my house. You might try giving him a call to get more information.

Why bother with solar power when gas works so well?

There is a place in fruitland park on 441 that sells them. It costs around $1000 more from what I hear.
Before I moved down here I thought of one of those also......I have only seen a few around TV and they will not charge the batteries up fully...still have to put a charger on.
I have a gas yamaha and an electric clubcar instead.
