Default Put a Throw-Pillow Behind Her Back

I'd like to make her more comfortable in the cart, and get her some pedal extenders. It would be nice if they were easily removable so I could drive the cart occasionally, but not really necessary as I have a Yamaha that we can take if we want to go somewhere together.

Any recommendations or warnings as I consider products to accomplish this?
If you put a Throw-Pillow behind her back, it will cushion the ride by helping to absorb the bumps while allowing her to easily reach the pedals on your golf cart.

The Villages Golf Cart stores sell a gas pedal extender for about $50. Great design and can be taken off or put back on easily.

I purchased a pedal extender but it is too thick for me. I’m 5’3”. It just snaps on & off the pedal. I paid $50 but would sell it to you for $30 if you’re interested. We have a Yamaha but it looks pretty generic & will probably fit any cart. 720-201-4888 if you’re interested. Village of Hadley

I have the same problem, the pillow is nice except it just another thing to steal the precious real estate called a golfcart seat (considering sometimes the 50lb pooch is sitting up with us also)
So we bought the pedal block at cart store, works great. Has a small lip around the whole thing that grabs the edge of pedal, then when hubby drives we slip it off and store it in dash...certainly does the trick.
Ps...it sucks being short...can't tell you how many isles in the grocery store I have to hang out in waiting for a tall person to walk by...." excuse me sir, would you be so kind as to reach that can of soup"

I use a pedal extender and my sister uses a back cushion, both bought at Gordon’s Garage (the Villages Golf Store). You can probably buy both on Amazon.

The villages golf cars did sell a plastic pedal extender. I don't know if they still do. Held on by velcro. Easy to put on and take off. We have one given to us by a neighbor when we first moved here.

I have one that you can have. Not sure how to get it to you if you want it. I live in the Village of Dunedin.

Amazon sells gas pedal extensions.
You can also make one that works very well with a piece of 2x3. Glue the sole (minus straps) of a flip-flop onto the wood. Then drill a couple holes through the wood going across the bottom. Run two or three plastic wire ties through the holes and around the gas pedal. Spray the whole thing with black paint and it looks like a professional job.

We bought a pedal extender for my wife that snaps on and off in seconds. Check them out at the villages golf cart dealers

Likewise. I had an extender installed on the gas pedal by Villages Golf shop when I bought my cart. Works perfectly!

I got my club car used, and it came with a slide-on extender. After trying to use it for 10 minutes I gave up. It kept falling off or shifting to the side. Plus it raised the gas pedal much higher than the brake pedal, which added potential danger.

Instead, I bought a lumbar support pillow that pushes me forward on the seat. SOOOOO much easier, and more comfortable! You can stick a little bit of velcro on the back of the cart seat down at the very bottom, almost out of sight, and the pillow will stay put when you get in/our or take turns.

If yours doesn't come with a composit board insert to keep it stiff in the back, you can cut up any thick (corrugated) piece of plastic to put in, they all come with zippers so you can wash the cover. I used an old lawn sign from a golf tournament that the club was throwing in the trash, and I rescued it because I knew it could be re-purposed.

I'm 5'2" so I know her pain. The support pillow truly solves the problem SO much better than a pedal extender will.

This is the one I got:
