WalMart sells aerosols of green goo that claims to seal punctures
Has anyone tried this stuff in their cart tires? Seems like a good "insurance policy" if it works Thank you |

I always carry a can of Fix-It for flat tires in my cart. It's saved me, friends and strangers a time or two. Do get the flat fixed, tho ($5 at the tire store by Wal-Mart). It will hold for a couple of days.

Fix a Flat from Pennzoil is the best on the market. I keep a can in each of my cars and one in each of my golf c arts.

I was at a motorcycle dealer near Atlanta because while traveling, my friend had a tire start to lose chunks of tread and needed a tire asap. I noticed a sign they had in the service dept that they would charge an extra $30. to clean the Fix a Flat out of the tire.

Yeah, it's sticky but you don't really have to clean it out. Just patch the hole and fill with air. Pre-1995 you have to clean the tire out because the propellant couldn't be mixed with oxygen but that was a long time ago. (I used to represent Pennzoil and specifically this product back in my good ole-Texas days.
