Default schwinn speedometer for golf cart..

Golf cart speed is showing 38 mph, that can't be right using the Schwinn speedometer. What do we need to do, is there something that has to be reprogramed? Don't have paper work for it...

It probably needs to be re-calibrated. Do you install it or someone else?

You need to measure the circumference of the tire, in centimeters, and enter that value into the tire size setting in the speedometer. Manuals for the various Schwinn speedometers can be found in the internet. You can buy an inexpensive metric and inches measuring tape at Walmart. Get the 10 foot version, as the 5 foot one won't reach around the tire if has a 10 inch rim.
