Question Speedometer for Golf Cart

I am looking to have a bike speedometer installed on my golf cart. Not for the speed but for the odometer. I have left messages for Bob Sain, but he doesn't return my calls, so I am assuming he no long installs them. Any referrals would be apricated.

Jack did mine. He advertises every Monday. 352-643-0045 Uses calipers to get the exact diameter of wheel. Looks great. He even wraps a black plastic cylinder around the steering column to hide the wire. $85. Lives not too far from Pimlico Rec Center.

I purchased a GPS speed and odometer on amazon. It was around 20 bucks I plugged it into the power and it was ready to go. Very easy and no wires. Check it out. Lastly you can also use your phone.

good luck

You can get a speedometer or odometer on your phone for free. I actually have an old iPhone 4 that was replaced and that is all I use it for. I mounted it to my windshield with Velcro and have a charging cord with a plug in. Otherwise you can use your current phone and either get a suction mount or put it in a cup holder.

I just bought a GPS enabled unit that was under $60 from amazon, has speed, trip miles, odometer, and then can also be connected to 3 or 4 alarms (oil, high beams, etc) as well as turn signals. I was able to mount in the dash, and as noted above this was primarily for the odometer function.

What kind of bicycle unit? There are two general ways to measure mileage for these kinds of units: GPS and physical wheel rotation.

Could you provide the name or brand you bought from Amazon?

Now that I know it's a $15 speedometer, I'm glad that I paid a little extra and got the Stryker. It's has 3 different screens with mileage from the trip, mileage since it was installed to indicating the current temperature, plus many other features and is self illuminated. The Bell does look better than the bicycle speedometer I had installed back in 2011 for $85, that guy Jack should change the drawing in the newspaper ad, he's misleading the public with a image of a Stryker. I thought all this time how could he sell and install a Stryker for $85.

I wasn't really expecting an expensive speedometer for $85 installed. Just wanted an odometer actually. It works well and he does a real clean installation.

Sorry Biker Dog but my Yamaha 2012 & 2018 cart both had Ofometers on them. Surprised your cart doesn’t have one. If you have a speedometer it should have one!

Unhappy The Villages Golf carts

I just talked to the service department at the Villages Golf Carts and they charge $215.00 plus tax for the Stryker Speedomotor installed.
