I'm looking at getting a new golf cart. Does anyone have any experience with owning a Yamaha and could provide some feedback? I'm looking at this one:

Yamaha gas carts tend to be pretty much bullet-proof - - - pretty darned reliable over time and they'll hold their value well.
Unless you're going to just be a fair/warm weather driver, you'll want to get side and rear curtains added to that particular cart. Also, I'd think the lift kit that one has would affect the handling. Might want to take it on a good test drive before deciding to purchase. You'd certainly be buying something that would be one of a kind in The Villages! Bill |

You might also want to check if those tires are approved for the golf courses in TV. I know that there are some restrictions.

Consider the additions you would need to make when added to the $5800 price of this 2008 model and I bet you can do better here in TV. Like Russ noted, I don't think those tires would be permitted on the golf course.

Also, be aware that the top speed for a golf cart is 20 MPH. The specs for this one says it will do 26 MPH. The fines are not worth it IMO.
