Default Value of Par Car

We are looking to purchase a villa that includes a 2004 Par Car with built in charger. Owners do not know value of this cart and we'd like to determine about what it is worth. Looks great! Thanks

i just googled "2004 par car golf cart" and it shows an electric 4 passenger cart listed @ $3995. That would be retail. Yours may be different but $3-4 thousand is my guess.

Buyer beware. I purchased a ranch home in 2008 here in TV that included a "FREE" 04 Yamaha electric. The Yamaha cost me $1,600 for new batteries, charger repair, and more new batteries during the 6 months I owned it. IMHO you'd be better off asking for a $3,500 discount on the Villa and buying a cart from a dealer.

Default Just a guess

This is a guess obviously, I have never seen the cart. My gut feel is I would personally be hard pressed to pay much more than $2500 for this cart. What could change this is the type and condition of the battery pack. A Par Car takes 8-6 volt batteries which will cost around $730+.

For kicks call a local dealer and ask trade in value. It is worth more in a private sale, but would give you an indication.

Anyway, good luck.

Default Par Car Value

If you can, take it or have it taken to The Villages Golf Car Store (or others) and have them give you there opinion. We bought a used Yamaha and did this before we bought it. We were fortunate, and got a good deal.

Good luck.

Check the Daily Sun for used carts to get a better feel for prices. If I were to buy an 04 Par Car, I would pay somewhere between $1800 and $2500 depending on the age of the batteries. With new batteries, less then 3 months old, and excellent condition, a maximum of $3000.
