Default Yamaha Eight-6 volt batteries

I am thinking about replacing my Par-Car with a new Yamaha electric cart with Eight-6 volt batteries.
Does anyone have any recommendations, good or bad regarding this decision?
And... if you do have an Yamaha 8-6 volt cart, are you pleased with it?

I have an 09 Yamaha 2 seater with 8/6volt batteries. They are original to the cart and still going strong. I check them and charge them on a regular basis. I recently took it from Bonita to Brownwood to Spanish Springs and back to Bonita. The cart made it under it's own power. I'll admit the last 2 miles were doubtful but we made it. I think that's pretty darn good on 4 1/2 year old batteries.
