Hopefully, you have Kart Aid....they have rescued me when my battery died on the golf course. The heat here really takes a toll on the battery.

That was going to be my suggestion. I had trouble even finding my Yamaha flasher switch; maybe you found it and didn't realize it?

I believe it's fixed.
The switch under the floor seems to have been too sensitive. The cold weather may have affected the connection to the switch. On this cart, even with the ignition off, if I apply the brakes, the brake lights come on. It isn't that way for our other 2019 Yamaha cart. I am surprised the 2019 battery is still running strong, but I do intend to buy a new one. Too bad there isn't a golf cart accessible auto parts store in TV. Thanks for all the advice. |

Did the cart get wet at all? We have had it happen before when we drove in the rain and once when we washed it. There was a connector that had to be dried off.

I have no idea which of several wiring harness and self cancelling modules you have, but this sounds like a bad turn signal switch. I have seen turn signal switches fail for various reasons. I would suggest replacing the switch, if possible, I am guessing that one of the contacts is loose causing the short circuit. You have been very lucky so far, every time I have come across these types of failures the electronic module usually fails first to protect the fuse.
