I have 2017 and 2021 Yamaha gold carts. I do most of the annual maintenance myself and want to grease to primary clutch.
I've read a few comments re; over greasing and potential problems with that. What I'm looking for is a Youtube video on the correct way to grease with a grease gun. Any suggestions?? Thanks! |

I have a 2015 Yamaha and the primary clutch has a grease fitting. I know in the 7 years that I've owned the cart I've never "greased" the clutch. I've searched everywhere on You Tube for information on greasing the clutch with no luck.
Anby help or guidance on where to find info would be appreciated. |

One pump from a grease gun once or twice a year in each clutch seems to work OK on my 2014. My clutches have zirk fittings, not sure what the newer carts have.

The premier Yamaha cart tuner in the country advised me that once a year (unless heavily used or in dirt/mud) a single pump from a grease gun of grease on the zerk fitting will do the trick.

So, pretty much what I said? Good to know. I have the original clutches, no problems, 32K miles. These things are built to last if maintained.

Check this link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zofX6p3TrdM It doesn't show you how to use the grease gun but it shows you where the fittings are located. |

My 2020 Yamaha will make a squealing noise when 1st started. I've been told this is normal?

When mine started making that noise I noticed it was time to replace the drive belt and give a squirt of grease into the grease fitting on the clutch, problem solved.
