Default Golf cart insurance

I know this topic has been discussed in the past and I have read the threads. I have called Allstate and Progressive to write a policy for golf cart insurance. This can be done without any problems as long as we are the individuals using the golf cart. This will be a rental property and we were going to provide a golf cart for the guests use. We would not be charging them for the use of the golf cart. Both Allstate and Progressive told me the guest will not be covered under the policy. In the case of a claim, it would not be paid. I fully understand the insurance company's position.

With the number of golf carts in The Villages and the number of rental property's, what company is writing the insurance policy's? The two listed on previous threads do not cover anyone except the owner of the golf cart. How are others getting insurance?

Most are not...they're rolling the dice. The cart rental companies, to the best of my knowledge, don't have it either.

My insurance is through Progressive and they supplied a form for the renters information so they can be added to my policy. We deal with Thomas Insurance in Leesburg.
