Well, we've had MiMi 3 weeks now. She is just a wonderful little girl. She is my shadow--follows me all around, but wants to snuggle with my husband. LOL. Wonder what her first 6 years were like.

With a rescue, I think the new owner always wonders about previous treatment.
Fortunately most dogs seem to "live in the now" and forget about the past.
Our Portuguese Water Dog rescue, Lollipop, had four homes before we got her!
Yet she seems like the most well adjusted, loving girl in the world.

Fireboy was never a fan of adopting a rescue because he thought that rescue dogs always came with big problems.
Now he is absolutely bonkers about Lolli and says she is the best dog he has ever had.
We thank the four homes that gave her up so that we can have the joy in our lives.

Our pugs are the same way -- they love to snuggle with my husband in his recliner, usually just one at a time!
