Home owners in The Villages are allowed to have dogs. Some dogs bark when they're outside. Some owners don't control this doggie behavior. Therefore....if you move to The Villages there is a chance you will be annoyed by barking dogs. The incidence of this problem is very small in my experience. However, if you are the one being annoyed, you probably don't care that 98 percent of other Villagers don't have such a problem.
One possible solution: don't buy in a new neighborhood. You don't get to choose your neighbors. Buy in a location where people already live. It's easy enough to find out if there is a noise problem. Just ask around.
