What does it entail to babysit a Cockatiel? I've had small birds but I don't know much about them.

Hi...Thanks for asking. Cockatiels love attention. Naturally, fresh water and food daily. He has his wings clipped, so is unable to fly into doors, windows & fans. That said, he enjoys being out of his cage and playing with his toys either on his play gym on the floor or on top of his cage. He is most comfortable being in the presence of people. So, in essence, he requires very little care, but in reality, he prefers being amongst others. Birds generally are very social creatures and can be quite entertaining.

Babysitting does not entail all of that. However, I prefer taking him to the home of his caregiver, so that he's not alone 90% of the time. I have been taking him to a pet store that boards birds inside of the store, which is fine, but that is not my first choice for him.
