Default Borborygmic dog?

How to Pronounce Borborygmic - YouTube

My dog's stomach is often a-rumbling. Anyone else's dog have this problem. It is kind of a hard thing to get Beau to eat on a set schedule.

yes, very loud sounds in the tummy and he trembles...I assume pain-based fear. Vet said this often comes from an empty stomach. So the little guy skips a meal and then has acute gas pains and of course will not eat. I'm still in the process of verifying this info/suggestion. Not sure of the cause, but condition usually appears around midnight in our little pooch. No one sleeps! I've read it is fairly common.

Rather than have them on a set feeding schedule I would try feeding smaller portions more often.

Pumpkin is good for any digestive issue, pureed pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling. Try mixing a bit with a little plain greek non-fat yoghurt.
