Default Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital Needing Towels

Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital posted on Sept. 20 on their Facebook page that they are in need of towels at their main location. So if you have any old towels you might want to consider helping them out.

I agree. Why don't they buy the towels? I owned two animal hospitals, made huge profits, and would never ask somebody to give me towels. Does McDonald's need napkins?

I was thinking the exact same thing! I know our bills are never cheap. And requested a certain med but not given because the vet knew much more than us. Our dog is still itching and the med didn't help at all that she prescribed. Not going back to them... convenient however not efficient! And now needing 'donations'... pathetic!

Boy this makes me boil that Buffalo Ridge requested donations of towels!
They can well afford to go out and buy them.

Instead of donating them to Buffalo Ridge, I request that any towels be donated to one of the humane societies.
Then, you can feel good about donating to a needy charity!

I was thinking the same things you were and donating to an animal shelter is a better choice. But I posted in case anyone was just going to throw some out and they didn't want to bother to drive to an animal shelter to donate them. I figured if they lived close by or were clients at Buffalo Ridge they would be put to use, rather than just filling a trash bag up. You would be surprised how much stuff gets thrown out that could be used to help animals because someone doesn't want to mess with driving 20 miles or whatever to deliver the items to a shelter or rescue.

Thanks for clarifying that. Wonder who washes the dogs a the animal shelters or cleans up their messes when they are nervous from being in situations? Most dogs I see at the vets are nervous and seem accident prone.

And there would only be so much storage for towels at the animal shelters.
