Default Can anyone recommend a trainer?

Greetings! I am a new Villager in need of a good dog trainer. My 2 dogs, both rescues, have come a long way and know the basic commands and have good manners around people, walk fine on the leash until we see other dogs. It makes walk time less than fun. If anyone has used a trainer for a similar problem or knows a good trainer please let me know. Positive training methods only please. Thanks so much.

Bark Busters (352) 205-4909 The Villages

I don't have personal experience with this trainer, but I have spoke to someone else who used them and liked them. Even though the name is Bark Busters it is my understanding that they work on other issues besides barking.

Thanks, I have checked out their site and you're right they do more than just barking. I will check them out.

Look in the Lifelong Learning College for dog training classes. There should be a teacher's name, and if you are interested in private training, you could contact the teacher. The Villages Lifelong Learning College enrichment classes for adults.
