My dog has a non-cancerous lump that will need to be surgically removed. I have an appointment this week with our vet to discuss the surgical procedure and which canine surgeon/Center they recommend. I am looking for additional centers to compare in order to hopefully find the best one.
I tried searching this forum but have not been able to find any threads that address this topic specifically. If anyone has had a non-cancerous lump surgically removed from their dog by a local (anywhere from Ocala down to Orlando) canine surgical center could you please provide the name of the center as well as any feedback you have related to your experience with them. Thanks in advance |

I know nothing about canine care. But if you are certain this is benign, unless it is impairing or soon to impair function in some way, does it need to be removed?

UF small animal in Gainesville. My dog had to have rear leg knee surgery, they were cheapest within 100 miles (then around 3500.) I would at least compare them. Done excellent job on small yorkie. About 55 miles from villages depending on which side live on.
