Default Diva Doghouse-- New store for rover on Canal Street in Lake Sumter Landing.

Anyone been to the new store for pets at Lake Sumter Landing?

What are the prices like and selection of various items?

Miss the Grateful Dog which had been around there but was a bit pricey when compared with Pet Smart and Pet Co.

Haven't been there yet, but planning to go soon. It will prob be a bit pricey also because it is paying the high rent of having a shop in TV. Grateful Dog had very unique things that couldn't be found at the large stores. I really miss it also. I think it relocated to downtown Leesburg..

Default Diva Doghouse is at...

1111 Canal Street in Lake Sumter Landing.

I doubt if my dog would ever forgive me if I put him in a tutu! http://www.divadoghouse.com/category_13/Pet-TuTus-.htm

1111 Canal Street used to where the Grateful Dog was.

Thanks for the news Tal. I'll look forward to hearing some reviews.

Thanks for the info, Tal... I'm sad it closed also. Next time I'm in Leesburg I'll check it out.

Wow, the new Diva Doghouse website lists bedding for dogs from $208 and up! You can buy a blanket though... for only $58. Then there is the $78 pearl necklace for fido. But hey, bandannas are only $22.

I love my dog to pieces but that's all too rich for my blood, I'm afraid.

I visited this store on Weds. The manager told me they do not have all of their merchandise in therefore there was not much of a selection. What they did have was very nice and very pricey. In the future they are going to host parties for dogs. I wish then much luck and I will return, but I do miss
Grateful Dog.

I think the pet store that was in LSL closed due to an illness of the wife. It was a husband and wife team. The husband was needed to help his wife at home and had to close the store. It was a sad story he told us and we could tell he and his wife enjoyed the time they had with the store and The Villagers.
