Coming up March 11th - 17th - Online Auction Benefiting Rescue

Who: Put on by Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida, a non-profit rescue.
What: Online auction - over 220 items (and counting) you can bid on. Every auction is different. We do have a lot of dachshund items, but there are things that other pet owners might want to bid on. In past auctions we have had for example: custom pet portraits, pet treats, collars, leashes, custom harness for small dogs, strollers, jewelry, clothing, even had a few cat items. I can't say what will be in this one, but I have attached a few photos. You never know what we will have both pet-related and not.

When: March 11th - 17th (Note: people are so excited and ready to get started that they will start bidding even before the auction officially starts. So it is okay to bid the day before it actually starts if the item posted has a description.)
Why: Your bids help raise money so the little dogs that are rescued can get veterinary care. Some of the dogs that come in are paralyzed and need back surgery. Others have equally as expensive medical needs that need to be met. All dogs receive vet care, as needed, are up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative before they are adopted out to wonderful new homes. Your bids save lives.
How: To bid you have to be on Facebook. Then you go to Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida Awesome Auctions(link above), click on "Join" to join the group so you can comment, then when the auction starts later in March you type your bids in the comments under the items you want to bid on.. You will be able to see how people are doing it as they get to bidding.

We hope you will at least check the auction out, even if you don't find anything to bid on. We have several auctions each year, so maybe you will find something in one of them. And just a reminder, because this is a dachshund rescue (and we do rescue some others) a good majority of items will be dachshund-related. The non-breed or non-pet items will be mixed in with the dachshund items. Items should slowly start uploading sometime March 10th if all goes as planned.
