I was wondering if anyone else had a bad experience at the Dog Park? My dog contracted a horrible gastrointestinal problem and the Vet thinks it's from the Dog Park. Some Dog Parks in Maine have closed because they found e coli on the grounds. The dogs contract it from the feces and lick their paws and get terribly sick.
Any other problems reported?

I used to be obsessive about it...cleaning their paws when I got home. but I stopped. so far, no problems going there.

What dog Parks in Maine have closed?
The only one I know was in Agusta it was temporarily close till it was cleaned due to lazy humans not picking up after their pets.
If there is waste on the ground creating a health issue it's not the pets fault

we visited the park for the first time yesterday....and our buddy was sick all nite....now ok not sure what caused it but now afraid of dog park on bonita...........

I see a crowding of dog walkers at the mail stations..............................
Oh no, the dogs could get sick from walking there..............................
Maybe the dogs owners lawn would be safe............................
