Default Cute Little White Dog Available For Adoption

MARBLES
DOB/AGE: 8-21-2011
WEIGHT: 15#
SEX: Female

Marbles is available through South Lake Animal League (aka The Animal League).

She is heartworm positive and will be starting treatment. Don't let that scare you, though. Dogs are treated for heartworm all the time and they live long, good lives. After receiving treatment they are able to go for walks, play, etc. People are scared and leary of dogs who have had heartworms, but they shouldn't be. It does not make them handicapped. If you or someone you know is looking for a cute little dog, please consider Marbles.

I second GeoGeo's comment about dogs living long healthy lives after heartworm treatment. We had a Springer Spaniel that had heartworm years ago. She was treated and lived a long time, and you never would have known she had heartworm. Don't shy away, you may miss your next best friend......

Please consider adopting her. We adopted our sweet Bert from the Sumter County Humane Society. Bert was HW positive and he was there for a little over 5 months!! Do not be afraid of adopting her. Bert has turned out to be the most loving, sweetest dog in the Villages!! He is as healthy as can be.

Your life will be changed forever. Ready..set...GO!!

Good luck and thank you for adopting.

Marbles is a good looking little dog.
There was a thread, I think last week - someone looking for a maltese or small dog.
Perhaps you could suggest to them that they look at Marbles.
