Default Lost Beagle Puppy

Snoopy, a mostly black Beagle puppy, is missing from the Summerhill area. He is a rescue puppy and when he jerked the retractable leash from my hand it scared him and he took off with the scary leash trailing him. He has been missing since around 10:15 this morning (Feb. 7). He was wearing a blue collar with the retractable leash attached (at least it was then). He doesn't have a name tag, but has a NC rabies tag. He is friendly, but may not come when called. Several walkers and service men had seen him, but none close enough to reel him in.

Any info regarding his location will be greatly appreciated. We'll place a missing dog ad in the Daily Sun for the weekend and make sure we contact Sumter and Marion Animal Control.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed. Please keep us posted.

There is SO many bushes around, he could be all snarled up in one.

I would be glad to help search.

Might be worth a try to let the Charter Schools know; from working at the school before, we often had dogs who would follow the kids to school. Good luck and will say a prayer for a safe return.

Please call the radio station. They have reconnected MANY lost pets with their owners.
Hope Snoopy is found soon.

bumping this. Is Snoopy a puppy or do you just call him that? His face kinda looks like a grown up dog.

That is a silly question. If any of us saw a beagle of any age running loose we would let you know.

I know you are so worried.

I heard him mentioned on the radio this morning. Is he micro chipped?

Talking Snoopy is home!

He was found on the Glenview golf course a little while ago. None the worse for wear, but quite hungry.

Thanks for all the kind words from TOTV members. He is chipped and he is a puppy (8 months). I'll be much more careful in the future. BTW, the retractable leash was nowhere to be seen, only the latch on his collar.

I sure could use a transfusion of some of his energy
