Default Fabulous new litter box

I have purchased top entry litter boxes in the past and my cats would not use them. They were too high and enclosed. I went to Petsmart the other day and got a new style. It is top entry so there is barely any litter on the floor. It is only as high as a regular hooded box and the top, besides the hole for the cat to get in, has holes all over it (like a honeycomb) so when the cats get out, the litter on their feet goes back in. I wasn't sure my jumbo cat (21 lbs) would be able to use it, but she get in and out without a problem and the cats started using it right away without hesitation. I wish they had invented this particular box years ago!

Is this the box? I don't have a cat, but wondered what it looked like. This is most interesting, indeed.

That's the one I bought last year that was too high for them to want to use. This one I have now is half as high and the top is like a grate and then has the hole. No problems with them using it, and they are older cats.

Our last cat would have gotten her tummy stuck in that! (she kind of bulked up after her hysterectomy...)

I have a 23 lb cat and amazingly she fits in it. And she has quite the girth!

Queenie Beans topped out at 24 before her vet blew her top. I guess free-feeding wasn't such a good idea for that one.

That litter box looks like a great idea.
