Default Banfield Wellness Plan

If any of you are thinking about enrolling in this plan, be sure you understand that it is not a health insurance plan that covers most situations. It is, rather, a discount and installment plan that provides many services at a discounted rate and for which you pay a set yearly price in monthly installments. I found out after my dog was put down that I owed them over $400 for the remainder of the year even though I obviously would no longer be using the plan. The plan has it's merits but be sure you understand all the fine print that goes with it.

I wasn't charged for the balance on my Jacks plan when he passed away in March. I'm surprised at that.
