Default Petsmart or Petco

Hi All,
We are about to be blessed with a Miniature Schnauzer puppy. She will be joining our family in December. I have been slowly gathering a few supplies. Of course Petsmart and Petco are in shopping centers directly adjacent to one another in Lady Lake. I was wondering about your experiences and preferences with either store. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you and hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and best wishes for a terrific Christmas!

I use both stores for my pet food and supplies and find them equally good and the customer service is fine.

Either one is fine, I use both. You can also find products on line such as Drs. Foster and Smiths, etc.

I prefer Petsmart. Seems they have larger selection of what I want. Both are fine though.

go where you can find the best deal - Petco offers a $5.00 coupon for every $100 you spend which I use a lot 'cause I am feeding 2 good size animals. but true, either store is good. enjoy your new pet.

I like Petsmart more too but you should go by the sales. The dog food my pooch likes is usually cheapest at Petsmart.

He likes going into both stores, however, and they both have friendly staff and good deals on pet supplies.

I go to both, but prefer to use the one that is located in the same plaza as Target. I appreciate that they pay a higher rent so that they are golf cart accessible.

I like Petco, as this is where I just adopted the most adorable kitten. He loves to play with all his new toys and follows me all around the house.
